What is The Intersection? It’s a place where God’s Word meets real life. It’s an annual reading plan that takes you through all 66 books of the Bible with relevant devotionals to help you - the reader - understand how Scripture may be intersecting with your everyday life.
Must I begin in January? No! You can start anytime!
What Reading Plan do you use? It varies some from year to year but mostly we stick to “Reading God’s Story: One Year Chronological Plan” from the Bible App. It has six days of readings each week so you get one day off or for catch up. We encourage readers to check out different Bible versions as they read each year to help them grow in their understanding.
How do these devotionals work? They are reflections written by Pastor Doug Resler who serves as the Senior Pastor for Parker Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Parker, CO. Doug has dedicated his life to helping people deepen their understanding of God’s Word so they can see God’s hand at work in the world around them and fulfill God’s plan for their lives.
What if I fall behind? No worries! Any time spent in God’s Word is worth it! You can either skip ahead or work to catch up or slow down and finish in more than a year.
